Instead of our traditional “shopping mall” setup, we are transitioning to a “shop for a child” model, focusing on the 400 children we directly serve through our housing programs and conference outreach. Parents or guardians will work directly with their SVDP case manager or conference representative to complete a wish list form on behalf of their child, allowing them to ask for specific items based on their needs, age/size, and include a special toy that will bring joy to a child on Christmas morning. Here's how it works. 
 

Sign up & Shop for a Child's Wish List (FULL, but join the WAITLIST)

Thanks to the generous support of our community, all children registered for the 29th Annual Santa Shop have now been assigned to a shopper. However, we are currently maintaining a waitlist for the families we serve who need to register late due to extenuating circumstances. If you would like to join the waitlist to shop for a child in one of these circumstances, please email holidays@svdplou.org with your name, phone number, preferred method of communication, and the number of children you would be able to shop for ($75-100 per child). If we have a wish list to assign you, we will contact you to confirm availability and coordinate a convenient time for gift drop-off. Thank you!

Drop Off Gifts

Gifts should be dropped off at our Administration Building from Tuesday, Dec. 2 through Friday, Dec. 5, between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m, to allow us time to bundle before distributing to families on Saturday, Dec. 13. The address is 1015-C S. Preston St. When you arrive, park in the volunteer and staff parking lot and our Administration Building is only a few steps away. Ring the bell at the front entrance, and a staff member or volunteer will come to collect your gifts. • Christmas gifts should dropped off new and unwrapped in a Christmas-themed plastic/cloth bag.
• If you cannot drop off your gifts on the designated days, reach out to us at holidays@svdplou.org to schedule another time.
• Truck pick-up will be available Dec. 8 to 10 for businesses, parishes, schools, or groups that shop for more than 15 children.
